Questo è il 3° album solista dei sette pubblicati dal 1990 al 2007. Ha preso vita durante un periodo trascorso nel verde e rigenerante silenzio di Zumiè; una piccola località di alta montagna dell'amico Luciano G. Un "nido" sulle montagne dove finalmente, dopo incessanti corse tra concerti, workshop, didattica e registrazioni, ho potuto raccogliermi e ordinare, oltre ai miei pensieri, bozze di composizioni e brani già terminati per confezionarli in questo settimo disco interamente registrato in loco.

Un pot-pourri di stili musicali diversi caratterizzano questo disco offrendo all'ascoltatore un caleidoscopio di ritmi e melodie che vanno dal tipico valzer all'italiana di "Waltz-herr"', al calipso di "Tijuana Express", al suggestivo e poetico mood irlandese della title track Zumiè, o la frenetica "Rain" in uno stile rock sono alcuni esempi di questo caleidoscopio musicale frutto dalle bellissime e colorate composizioni di Zumiè e dal suono delle chitarre usate: la sua fedele Larrivè e l'innovativa 12 frets di Aldo Illotta ad accompagnarlo in questo ultimo viaggio compositivo.

This is the 3rd solist album among the seven published by Walter Lupi. it came to life after a time spent in the quiet and regenerating silence of Zumiè, a little "nest" on the mountains where the artist gathered his thoughts together.

Walter Lupi, fingerstyler acoustic guitar player, developes this album's compositions, which are strongly characterized from his own expressive lyric, playing with various colours and moods taken from different music styles;

The typical waltz's rhythm of "Waltz-herr"', the light-hearted calips of "Tijuana Express", the suggestive and poetic Irish mood of the title track Zumiè, and the frantic, rock-tasty "Rain" are some examples of the musical "kaleidoscope" given by beautiful and colorful Zumie's compositions and by the unic sound of Lupi's acoustic guitar.
