"Vintage" is a collecton of original songs recorded on a "TEAC-A 3440" reel recorder between the mid-80s and the 90s which, on March 22nd, I published on the web maintaining the original (very vintage) sound.

The musical content consists partly of discarded songs from my debut album "Bhakta Priya" (1990) and partly of a suite in three movements composed close to graduating in classical guitar (1988).

La suite è stata registra con una chitarra classica "Carlo Raspagni" (1977) I brani dalla traccia 4 alla 9 con una chitarra acustica "Larrivèe-L07" (1985).

"Vintage" è una raccolta di brani inediti tratti da incisioni effettuate con registratore a bobina "TEAC-A 3440" tra la metà degli anni '80 e '90. Il disco si compone in parte da brani scartati dalla selezione del mio album d'esordio "Bhakta Priya" e in parte da una suite in tre movimenti composta in prossimità degli esami per il conseguimento del diploma intermedia di chitarra classica (primavera del 1988).

La suite è stata registrata con una chitarra classica "Carlo Raspagni" (1977) I brani dalla traccia 4 alla 9 con una chitarra acustica "Larrivèe-L07" (1985).

"News From The Past" è una nuova versione dei brani originali registrati su registratore a bobine tra la metà degli anni '80 e gli anni '90 che, il 22 marzo ho pubblicato sul web mantenendo il sound originale (molto vintage).

Il contenuto musicale è costituito in parte da brani scartati dal mio album di debutto "Bhakta Priya" (1990) e in parte da una suite in tre movimenti composta vicino al diploma di chitarra classica (1988).

Con questa nuova versione di "Vintage", registrata nella primavera del 2023, ho voluto riproporre questi brani, avendo ora più esperienza come interprete musicale rispetto al passato, per esprimere al meglio il contenuto artistico ed estetico di queste composizioni, che rappresentano la mia più genuina identità di compositore.

Tutti i brani sono registrati e mixati nel mio studio di casa utilizzando una chitarra classica "Carlo Raspagni" del 1977 e una chitarra acustica "Chatelier" del 2016.

"News From The Past" is a new version of the original songs recorded on tape between the mid-80s and 90s, that I released on the web on the 22nd of March keeping the original (very vintage) sound.

The music content is made up partly of tracks discarded from my debut album "Bhakta Priya" (1990) and partly of a three-movement suite composed close to the classical guitar certificate (1988).

With this new version of "Vintage", recorded in the spring of 2023, I wanted to re-play this songs having now more experience as a music interpreter compared to the past in order to best express the artistic and aesthetic content of these compositions, which represent my most genuine identity as a composer.

All tracks are recorded and mixed at my home studio using a 1977 "Carlo Raspagni" classical guitar and a 2016 "Chatelier" acoustic guitar.
